Initial Planning

Welcome back, in this blog post I will like to establish our teams place on the planning. The area we have most discussed and established is technology and the tools we will need to deliver our best on the film opening. The team will have to compile a list of the equipment we will need and the equipment we already have in order to make sure everything is secured. My team believes it is very important to document things such as equipment to make sure nothing is lost and everything is kept track of. For example certain shots will require different cameras, such as a steady cam. We plan to document the footage taken on this equipment on something like a spread sheet in the hope to keep everything more organized and to not have any problems with organization. Im sure as we go along and get farther into the project we will find more things that will be needed to be done and kept organized but for no this is my biggest focus on the technology and technical aspects of our planning and eventual filming. I would also like to expand on something I stated in my last blog, which is the teams idea on who the characters might be. In our initial planning we talked about how we would like to be a group of teenagers, boys and girls. Although we have not yet established a main character we still have a general idea of how we would like the character to be like and how we would like for them to fit into the plot. I will continue to expand and make certain points clearer the more the project is worked on.

Im back!!!

Hello everyone, I am back after not blogging for quite a while and I am extremely excited to start blogging again. In this blog post I would like to talk about my upcoming project. This project is a film opening. The film opening while fall under the genre of horror. My team and I choose the horror genre as we are all very interested in the horror genre. Some of my favorite works are by un-conventional directors such as Jordan Peele, and his horror film "Get Out", as well as director John Krasinski, and his film "A Quiet Place". This newer more un-conventional style of horror films really drew me to the genre and gave me an attraction to create a film opening on a horror film. On the part of planning my team and I, haven't yet established concrete characters but we have and idea on the type of personality some might have. The 2 minute time limit on the film opening will prove to be challenging as establishing main/supporting character(s), as well as key plot aspects will be hard to do. On a different note; I will begin to be posting and updating my blog more frequently. This will be done to keep my project and it's production noted and to help me establish goals.
